Sneak in more veg with this tasty burger alternative.
3 cups cooked or canned beets, cubed
3⁄4 cup oats
1⁄2 cup diced onion
2 tbsp olive oil
- Combine first seven ingredients in a prep bowl and mix well.
- Rest mixture for 30 minutes to allow oats to absorb liquids.
- Form the mixture into four patties. Heat frying pan to medium, add oil, and pan-fry patties for approximately 5 minutes per side, until crisp on the outside and warmed through.
- Serve on buns with Avocado Peach Salsa or your favourite toppings.
